Versatile to the Extreme
Ferrara’s fabricated bodies are extremely versatile and extremely tough. Each fabricated body subframe consists of a welded aluminum ladder frame with 8-12 heavy-duty springs to support the weight of the body and the booster tank. Additionally, 3 crossmembers are full width of the body to brace the front and rear compartments. Choose the compartment style you need, from traditional pumper style to full-height/full-depth rescue style.

- Available bodies: Fabricated aluminum and fabricated stainless steel
- 2″ x 4″ x ¼” aluminum tubing and gussets welded in a ladder frame construction, welded to body structure and attached to the chassis frame by 8-12 heavy-duty springs
- Each welded joint in each body compartment is reinforced with backing plates to ensure a strong joint
- Tank protection panels in the rear wheel well areas ensure road debris won’t damage the water tank
- Every component, other than the aluminum diamond plate, is protected with a tough, durable paint finish
- Compartment floors are reinforced to handle heavy equipment like generators and extrication tools
