Robbie Morris, Fire Chief of Corteva’s Fire Department, said he worked closely with Ferrara engineers to develop the pump schematic that is typically seen on much larger industrial pumpers, including capacity for 500 gallons of water, 250 gallons of foam and two independent remote controlled 1250 GPM master streams on top.
“We worked with Ferrara to adjust the parameters of the pumper, so it can effectively respond to and mitigate over 300 worst-case scenarios for which we have mapped out action plans,” Morris said.
“Industrial firefighting has its own set of challenges, and we were honored to work with Corteva to design a configuration to suit its many needs,” said Jim Stover, Sales Manager, Ferrara.
