The design of Brush Trucks and Type Vl Wildland Engines are as different as the part of the County they operate within. Designs range from flatbed style bodies with diamond plate compartments to traditional body styles and side or rear pump controls. These vehicles are often are smaller and lighter in GVW which doesn’t require a Commercial Driver’s License and are typically built on commercially available chassis like Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet.
Don’t under estimate the versatility, flexibility and firefighting capacity of these workhorse vehicles; cabs are available in two door, extended cab and four door models along with 4X2 and 4X4 drive trains.
